- a public mental health & well-being campaign in Kensington & Chelsea
- promoting key messages on mental well-being and the evidence-based positive steps for mental health with young people, older people, BME communities, and the workplace
- providing people in the target groups with the information to help them maintain and improve their mental well-being
- working with relevant agencies and service providers to let them know about the campaign and get them involved.
British Telecom Work Fit Positive Mentality Campaign
October 2006
- pioneering 16-week mental health fitness programme providing guidance to BT employees on how to improve their mental health at work and at home.
- encouraged staff to adopt small changes to their lifestyles and use proven techniques for increasing their resilience, to help them cope better with the pressures of modern living and work more creatively and productively.
- showed how regular exercise, healthy eating, relaxation techniques and support of friends and family can help to ward off depression, stress and anxiety.
- also aimed to help reduce the stigma of mental illness and promoted the range of support services that BT provides.
World Mental Health Day Campaign, London Borough of Hillingdon
October 2006
- to raise awareness of mental health among young people in Hillingdon aged 11 - 16 years and those who work with them
